What We Provide for Participants

– 12 spray cans per artist (pre-selected color palette according to the event theme)
– A black-primed wall prepared in advance
– Scaffolding and technical support
– Hot grilled lunch and drinks
– Access to a chill zone and sanitary facilities
– Event photo documentation
– Visibility of your work during the Drift Festival, in front of a large live audience

Graffiti Workshop for Visitors

Between 14:00 and 18:00, there will be a creative open area for all visitors in the form of a paint-by-numbers wall.
Together we will create a large-scale mural spelling out “Nijmegen”, with final linework completed by a professional artist.

Each visitor will receive a basic introduction to graffiti and learn about where and how to legally practice street art in Nijmegen. The finished piece will be exhibited during the Drift Festival to a wide audience.

Purpose of the Event

Stijl is de Basis 2025 is a non-profit initiative promoting legal, community-driven urban art.

Our mission:

– To provide space for artistic collaboration
– To educate on legal and respectful graffiti practices
– To connect street art with local community life
– To share creativity through passion and mutual respect
