1. General Rules
1.1. Stijl is de Basis is a non-profit graffiti jam taking place on May 31, 2025, at Vasim, Nijmegen.
1.2. The event aims to promote urban art and support graffiti and street artists.
1.3. Participation in the event is free of charge, but requires prior registration on www.sidb.nl.
1.4. The number of available spots is limited – 50 artists will be selected based on applications.
1.5. The official list of selected participants will be announced on May 1, 2025.
1.6. Each participant takes part in the event at their own risk and agrees to comply with the rules and regulations.
1.7. The organizers are not responsible for any damage to personal property or injuries sustained during the event.

2. Participation Rules
2.1. Each participant must follow safety regulations and maintain the event area in good condition.
2.2. Paints for the event: Organizers will provide some paint for artists, but participants are encouraged to bring their own materials as well.
2.3. Assigned spaces: Artists will be allocated specific sections of the wall – it is not allowed to paint outside of assigned areas.
2.4. Artwork content: All artworks must comply with legal standards and cannot include offensive, racist, homophobic, or discriminatory content.
2.5. Responsibility for the workspace: Participants must keep their area clean and are responsible for tidying up after themselves.
2.6. Protective equipment: Participants are encouraged to bring their own protective masks and gloves. A limited number of protective supplies will be provided by the organizers.
2.7. The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant who does not follow the regulations or disrupts the event.

3. Event Organization & Facilities
3.1. Event schedule: Painting will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 10:00 PM.
3.2. Breaks and rest areas: Participants can take breaks and use the restroom and food area at De Achtertuin.
3.3. Event documentation: The organizers and photographers will document the event – participation implies consent for images and videos to be used for promotional purposes.

4. Safety Rules
4.1. Each participant is responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.
4.2. The organizers are not responsible for participants' personal belongings – it is advised to bring only essential items and avoid leaving valuables unattended.
4.3. The event will take place regardless of weather conditions.

5. Data Protection & Email Use
5.1. Participants agree to have their email addresses used for organizational and promotional purposes related to future editions of the event.
5.2. Contact details may also be shared with event sponsors for marketing purposes related to the event.
5.3. Each participant has the right to access or request deletion of their personal data by contacting the organizers at stijlisdebasis@gmail.com.

6. Additional Provisions
6.1. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to these regulations. Any updates will be published on www.sidb.nl.
6.2. Any questions regarding the event can be directed to info@sidb.nl.
6.3. In cases of serious violations of these rules, the organizers have the right to remove a participant from the event.

7. Acceptance of the Regulations
7.1. By applying to participate in the event, the participant fully agrees to these regulations.
